Crowden and Millstone Rocks

Walk Description

Starting from Crowden the route ascends up the Pennine Way before heading East across the moors before looping back along the north side of two of the reservoirs.

Information

  • Grade – moors, woods and fields with mostly well maked paths. Some steep climbs, Can be exposed and/or muddy in parts
  • Start – Crowden car park or the small car park on the A628 at (10)
  • Public transport – National Express route 350 (liverpool to Cambridge) stops at Crowden
  • Refreshments – none on the route
  • Public Toilets – Crowden car park
