Perched at the top of the hill we have stunning views across Sheffield and the Peak as well as real fires in our lounge and tap room. We welcome walkers and their dogs and offer real ales, home cooked fresh food and espresso coffees.  Food is available Monday to Saturday 12 till 9 and on Sunday we offer a roast lunch served from 12 until 5.

At The Bank View Cafe in Langsett, you'll find great home cooked
food. Everything from hearty breakfasts to delicious teatime cakes. We
offer takeaways (if you need a packed lunch for the hill), and we
often cater for large walking parties -no problem. If it's sunny enjoy
the garden, or if it's wet dry your coats by the open fires inside.
At the Cafe we know how to look after Walkers.
The owner,Pete, a member of the local Mountain Rescue Team, got into
catering whilst working for the Youth Hostel Association and has had
years of looking after the needs of outdoor folk. We stock local maps
and walking essentials. Needless to say Muddy Boots are welcome, in
fact- if they're not muddy, questions will be asked!!"

Popular with walkers, Flask End is a Village Shop, Post Office, Tea Room and a self catering holiday cottage.  It sells a range of coffees, teas and homemade cakes as well as sandwiches, quiche, pork pies, sausage rolls, and homemade soup in the winter for you to eat in or takeaway.  We offer a flask filling service and an indoor 'dogs welcome' cafe area (so no need for you or your dog to shiver outside when you come for a stop off on your walk!) The shop also sells a wide range of local produce including speciality teas, jam, chutneys, ice cream, honey, local history books and walking guides, making it more than your average post office!

The Old Glasshouse Cafe

Here at The Old Glasshouse Cafe we create all our meals using good quality local and British produce. To reduce food miles, our meat is sourced from John Crawshaw butchers, bread loaves are delivered from The Bakers Shop at Walkley and eggs and milk come from the Loxley valley. We also supply locally produced Our Cow Molly Ice Cream in small tubs.
All our food is prepared and cooked fresh to order, which means that if you have any special dietary requirements or concerns about allergens we will do our very best to accommodate you.
We not only have light snacks on offer but also wholesome meals. An extensive menu and daily specials board will ensure there is something to suit every palette and budget.
Freshly prepared meals, cakes & puddings using gluten free ingredients are available daily, we bake a wide selection of cakes including our renowned scones. Coffee is prepared by trained Baristas. Hot drinks and food are available to take away, and can be pre ordered if you are in a rush.

Our Cow Molly

This family business has been processing and delivering milk to Sheffield for over 60 years. They’re now using the fresh milk and cream from the farm to produce their very own award winning brand of ice cream.

All the ice cream is available from the farm, so look out for the new flavours that are sold there before they reach the shops. Visit the Cliffe House Farm Shop to pick up some ice cream in a tub for your tea, pick up one of the new milkshakes or stop for a cone on one of their benches, enjoy the view and look out for Molly, the ‘face’ of Our Cow Molly ice cream!

Mrs Minnie Lee gave her name to the village pub where she spent the greater part of her life.
